Data Retention Policy

Markable retains data for the following periods:
- Teacher account data: duration of subscription plus 12 months
- Uploaded scripts: 24 months from upload date
- AI feedback and teacher assessments: 24 months
- Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement)
- Login and access logs: 90 days
Deletion requests: You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Automatic deletion: Scripts older than 24 months are automatically deleted from our systems.
Upon account closure: All personal data is deleted within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law.
